The Medea Project
The Medea Project is a 5 week interdepartmental project between the Department of Classics and World Religions, University of Ohio and the Department of Philology (Classics), University of Patras. In particular, the project re-discusses Medea in relation to the question of the “other” and the “alien” as they resurface again in the age of displacement and refugee crisis. Moving from logos to praxis the project aims at adapting Medea creatively so as to address current critical questions of today’s world. The project is open to all Philology UPatras students with a special focus on those interested in classical reception.
